On Thursday 31 March, the HER Future Virtual Summit featured HFI’s CEO, Dr. Andrea Feigl, for a session entitled The Corporate Innovation Ecosystem of the Future: The Opportunity for Women. After featuring multiple global leaders, The Summit will have multiple global events presenting global leaders in multiple fields featuring tech investors, entrepreneurs, and influencers creating or leveraging platforms to advance women.
Health Finance Institute's 2022 Virtual Skoll Ecosystem Event is happening Friday, April 8 from 8-9 am EST. Our panelists from around the world will share their perspectives and visions of an actionable path forward in fostering solidarity and accountability in global health equity.

The Role of Innovative Finance in Vaccine Provision and Development
The COVID-19 pandemic has further boosted the importance of mobilizing additional funding resources to address the current vaccine challenges and prepare for the next pandemic. We not only need more catalytic financing and domestic investments, but also need a multi-sectoral partnership to coordinate all the efforts. Dr. Paul Farmer, co-founder and chief strategist of Partners in Health (PIH) was known as a visionary and beacon of hope in the global health world who held an MD and Ph.D. from Harvard University. HFI wants to acknowledge Dr. Farmer’s tenacity, endless advocacy efforts, and activities for making the world see the importance of what global health means. His leadership and legacy will forever be remembered.

Ukraine's Humanitarian Crisis
HFI supports and stands behind the NCD Alliance’s call on international partners and members to protect the civil population of Ukraine and respect the Geneva Conventions and their First Additional Protocol, on the international armed conflict taking place in Ukraine. Health must be considered a priority of humanitarian responses and include the continuation of essential health services such as non-communicable diseases and communicable disease services including supplies and medicines for people living with chronic conditions.
