In this issue:

RECAPPING AN EVENTFUL MAY

HFI had its most impactful month yet! Starting our event series off with a Jeffersonian event in Washington, DC, generously hosted by our Senior Advisor Kyle Peterson, discussing HFI’s global strategy and positioning. Then we headed to Switzerland, where we attended the World Health Summit, the 75th World Health Assembly, as well as several events in Davos.

During what the World Economic Forum called a "watershed moment", we examined the issues of Data Zeitgeist and Hope during our oversold Health Financing Event. The issue of data and the need for financing, yet a lack of solidarity, resonated with our audience during the panel on Resilient Health Systems at the World Health Summit, as well as with the audience at the Female Equality Lounge Panel. On May 25th, Dr. Feigl had the great privilege to speak at the annual Lombard-Odier hosted annual humanitarian luncheon in Davos, where HFI was one of three global institutions discussing the potential impact of blended finance to address the confluence of crisis: food, pandemic, and chronic disease.

The HFI team left with a sense of urgency that our work is more important than ever – yet also with a sense of hope after meeting in person with trusted advisors as well as announcing our partnership with the Access to Oncology Medicines Coalition (ATOM).

Finally, we are excited that the HFI-Health Wildcatters opportunity is now LIVE - and we can't wait to receive many qualifying applications!
